Summer of 1937 in a photo studio in Onteniente. Alter Szerman, Kuba Bachrach, Menke Bober, and Maks Stark (from left to right) are visiting their girlfriends who work in the hospital: on the left Adela Korn and Genia Gross on the right. Both Szerman and Bober attended the officers’ school in Pozorrubio. Bachrach is a physician who studied at the Université Libre de Bruxelles and is the head of the Brigades' clinic in Murcia.
